On April 22, 2025, Fujipoly participated in the Battery & Electrification Summit, hosted by Battery & Electrification Technology Magazine and SAE International. Our session, “New Battery Safety Materials: Preventing Fire and Heat Propagation”, was delivered at 1:25 PM EDT.
The presentation addressed one of the most pressing challenges in modern energy storage: how to prevent dangerous thermal runaway events in high-power batteries. Fujipoly experts highlighted the role of advanced materials in stopping fire spread and reducing heat propagation within battery packs.
Key discussion points included:
The latest developments in thermal interface and safety materials designed specifically for battery modules.
Strategies for controlling localized hotspots and mitigating chain-reaction failures.
Case studies showing how innovative material design can improve both safety and performance in electrified vehicles and stationary storage systems.
Future directions for material science in supporting global electrification goals.
The Battery & Electrification Summit brought together leading engineers, researchers, and manufacturers to share insights and accelerate progress toward safer, more efficient electrification. Fujipoly was proud to contribute to the conversation and reaffirm its commitment to advancing safety through material innovation.
